Expansys vs Mongkok?

Curious, how do the expansys prices compare for mobile phones, when compared to Mongkok shops?

I'm looking at these two phones...

Palm Treo 500 for HK$2,245

and

Toshiba Portege G710 for HK$2,695

Not sure how much cheaper things in MK are these days, i doubt it's any more than 10%, but one thing i like about buying there is all the free gifts you get with your purchase.

Well, the cost of going to MKK and back along with time will be $200 or so. Add to that the hassle of going around asking every idiot shopkeeper what their prices are might not make it worth it then.

For items that I have looked at, Expansys tends to be pricier. Either by a relatively minor amount ($40 on a $400 Moto phone) or a lot (>3000 vs 1900 for a Palm PDA).

This could just be luck on my part- the items I have looked at tend to be the weird, obscure ones. Also, a sample size of 2 shouldn't hold too much weight.

jgl - well, I've noticed that their bundles are absurdly overpriced at times. Phone - $2500, Phone + 2GB card - $5000.
