Simple project management tool - Software Development

Does anyone have recommendations for a simple / easy to use project planning and management tool for a small team of 1 or 2 people.

Don't want anything too complicated (no Agile etc etc buzz wordy stuff).

Have used basecamp in the past - but that was more of a todo list management thing.

Ideally I'd like to start with

    Project
    - Components
    --- Tasks
------ 1 Level Sub TASK - Assign to person and schedule and progress

Have a GeoExpat related problem - please create a support ticket.

I use Asana which is free for small teams and then you can use instagantt plugin to do gantt charts on top of your asana data.

Sure, Redmine can run on any Linux machine, doesn't have to be Amazon's cloud

    Wrike?

I like trello just for task management. Move the most important to the top and shift it along when stages are done
