    Data Centre

    Hello,

Im a computer geek by hobby. Pilot by occupation.

It may sound amusing but flying bores me and im looking for some other avenues. I am after some contacts who work in the networking field. Essentially network designers and/ or data centres admins/ creators.

Im a kiwi by breed. My main hobbies are linux, web servers and networking in general. I hold CCENT, studying for CCNA and have years of tinkering under my belt.

If you can shed light on the above fields id be keen for a meet greet over a beer or 4.

    Cheers,

    wookienz.

Look out for the next one of these: http://www.geoexpat.com/forum/thread33643.html
They have been about every 2 weeks, so there must be another due RSN.

CCNA skills are high demand but at low salaries. Cisco gear is installed everywhere, both HKBN and PCCW announced years ago gigantic purchases. The challenge is finding someone who understands the value of a good network administrator and has the budget to get one.

Suggestions on a company for a dedicated server? Low bw and data rate needed, just want something cheapish.
