Bluetooth headsets?

anyone know where to get old models?
im looking to pick up a very cheap and simple bluetooth headset to use with the PS3.

most of the shops ive been to in Wanchai are charging $300 - $1K. And they all say the same crap "HK only sells latest models"

so...anyone know where to buy the older models? I dont like to use ebay, and dont want used.

In the US...most stores and online sites still sell old models for around 10USD....thats kind of what im looking for.

HK locals do not do used or secondhand, They just don't want them as per the same reasons as you.

just buy the cheapest new one thats out there and stick with it.

thats what im saying though.....there is no cheap ones here. you can buy new ones in US for 10 USD...but in HK the cheapest ones ive found are like 3-400 HKD. thats almost 50USD.

i find it hard to believe there is no market for cheaper and older models at firsthand.

Buy online from a nonsecondhand store? Eg Amazon perhaps? If you choose one that charges cost-reflective postage (rather than whacking a great postal charge for a tiny 20g item) you should be fine.

Yep - I found it hard to believe too! There ARE places that do older models but they are few and far between. I had to search hard for an 'older model' heart rate monitor but found in the end.

ok...i just checked them...and they will charge 450HKD for shipping to HK for a 93HKD item.

Not just a Hong Kong thing: I remember my college days in Japan when people would put perfectly good (i.e., fully functional and occasionally without a scratch) TV sets, stereo sets, DVD players, etc. out with the trash because they were over two years old and the owners were upgrading to the latest model. I know that quite a few exchange students at our university went 'scavengering' and obtained entire apartments full of appliances for free.
