Netvigator/now tv connection problems?

Hi All,

I have recently subscribed to the now tv and broadband package. It was installed yesterday and the internet connection worked fine on the technicans laptop but on my own there is a problem. It will not connect to the net....

Im not sure how to rectify this problem!

I have the settings set to obtain Ip address automatically and DNS automatically, is this correct? Or can anyon give me any tips on how to fix?!

Have you tried calling their help line? That should be your first step. I have found them very helpful in the past - quickly got me back online.

It could be your Network Interface Card (NIC). I had the same problem last year and bought a cheap PCI network card at Wanchai Computer Centre, as pretty sure the one on the motherboard got fried in a power surge. Can't remember the price but i know it didn't cost much.
Installed it and away went my problems.
Might be worth a try?
