    iPod Classic repair

I am looking for a repair shop that can do SSD conversions for iPod classics. My iPod is experiencing hard drive failure and I want to fix it. Thanks.

I should check if I still have mine somewhere. Not sure if the kid took it and donated this schools design museum thingy.

If I find it, it might have a functioning drive in it.

Report back if I am not too hungover tomorrow.

So I might be completely wrong about this but I had an iPod classic before they were called that and dinged the Hdd twice. First time I just bought a replacement, second time I learned that compact flash (I believe) cards had the same interface so switched to that.
Logic board died a few years later but no more mechanical failures. The model I had wasn’t glued up. I’d look for an ifixit video and try my own luck. Otherwise, the DrMobile guy next to the Pawn in Wan Chai is pretty good at fixing just about anything.
