Yep, agreed, going to be a pain.

I am pretty sure this is a small subset of users, many of whom will be forced to use the business starter plan.

It is a very non-trivial number of small business owners and a larger tech savvy audience... Been on gmail for custom domains forever and have several accounts.

The plan forward seems to be:

- Need to start getting familiar with Google Takeout and may be other migration services
- Export data
- Do some domain and account f'ery
- Import data to a consolidated upgraded domain with aliases of the old domains

No clue how reliable the takeout service is..

Will look at this and update post CNY.

Need to start day drinking..

I'm glad I already moved my parents' and my domains away from the free grandfathered Google accounts they'd been on for years - they still go to Gmail, but now via forwardemail.net...

Thanks for posting this. Cloudflare has some email proxying service thst I have not turned on. Will have to look at it.

I ironically started looking into this a week ago.

Services I've looked into are:

- Anonaddy
- 33mail
- Simplelogin
- Manyme

I understand there are bunch of others out there.
