You could always apply in person in branch.

Octopus took forever for me. I tried day after day and sent a customer service ticket in every day for about 2 weeks. Each time it was the same generic advice given on how to do it. I followed their advice each time, referenced my previous ticket and it never worked. Eventually, they invited me to the octopus office, first a worker tried using my phone to take the picture (they had lighting equipment and everything), and it didn't work, then I had logged into their phone Samsung S23 and they did it for me. (Yes, even when I visited the office, we had to do the verification through the app, no human checker service was available.)

So I guess the answer to your question is own a Samsung S23.

This absolutely has a timer. don't know what it is, but i cannot beat it for the life of me.

All the apps need is the "hidden" code visible only when you put the card on a white sheet of paper.

I have had really good result by keeping 3 phones around. That way you can try iPhone, Android, and a couple different cameras potentially which can also make a difference.

I hope you were being sarcastic.
    Reminds me of a joke:

Completely serious. Wish I were joking, but a lot of developers only test a small number of phones
