    Airwheel - "Suitcase Scooters"

Hello. I am interested in getting an Airwheel for an elderly relative. It's basically a small suitcase that can be transformed into a mini scooter. If you've never heard of them, here's a short vid via the link:

Has anyone ever seen them in any stores in Hong Kong? I know Taobao have opened a store which I will try and go to this week to see if they have any. The Fortress websites sells Airwheels but doesn't specify if any stores have them. I want to physically see one with my elderly relative before purchasing. So if anyone knows where in Hong Kong I can go and look at one, please do share.

    Thanks.

Please don't put an elderly relative on these and just use the free wheelchair service every airline in the world provides for free at every airport. I've used them when I was sick between MEL and HKG. I'd never get on these unstable child toy things. Especially if older. They might just fall and break their pelvis.

Seen them scooting about in the airport- even often saw a guy riding one down the footpath for a while, apparently heading to work. Twats, the lot of them.

Are these hand luggage only? Presumably they have lithium batteries so cannot go in the hold- and must be heavy. Not very practical for peple with limited mobility.

They'll be banned soon if they aren't already, just like "smart luggage" in airports and Onewheels on the streets. I've seen a few mainlanders riding these around shops in CWB and it's just antisocial.

I ve seen an eledery with one, he couldnt lift it up to put in the carry on luggage compartment as these are very heavy due to the battery. Also think its a matter of time these will be banned on board due to battery.
