    Watercooling systems in Hongkong

    Hey guys,

I was wondering if any of you are using a watercooling system for their PC. I just got a i7 920 processor which I overclocked to 4GHz with stock cooling. I'm planning to get a Swiftech H20-220, but I don't know if you can get Swiftech in Hong Kong....

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

wan chai 298 (diy shop on top floor) or golden in sham shui po, look around there..

Im not sure if they have swift tech, but they do have good alternatives, I got Zalman water block for north bridge, cpu and SLI setup from 298 a long time ago.. & Ive seen Cooler Master stuff in sham shui po, not sure if they are any good myself, reviews seems ok tho, use your own judgement there... or check around online for reviews, I use tom's & anandtech which are pretty good.

I am interested in buying a couple of water cooling items to give this a try. I have no experience. If anybody knows exactly where to get water cooling gear, please let me know. I've never noticed anything in Sham Shui Po.

In HK the market for real enthusiasts is virtually non existent sadly. Those ready to use kit sets are ok to get into watercooling but oftenly you can get the same results with a highend cooler with a silent fan on it.

When I was still into overclocking/modding I ordered most of my H2O cooling parts from sidewinders their support is superb.

All our computers at work are watercooled. But this is a central system and not individual PC dependent.

Not that I have any idea but wouldn't a Peltier device be a good solution for localised cooling needs?

I think the water cooling trend had faded. I am going to oc my soon to be built system and base on what I have read, people are going back to air cooling.

I was hoping I'd find a few shops with the stuff you need for water cooling in Hong Kong, but no luck so far. I found lots of shops with air cooling gear, often a whole shop dedicated to nothing else than fans and heat sinks.
