USB input TV switch?

my old no brand made in china dvd player had a USB input where i can watch any computer movie files on TV. Is there a device where it is just the USB port and no dvd? I know i can get a dvd player with the usb. tata.

if you simply want to play computer files on a TV you can get a media gateway that will play files off your PC using network or USB.

There are some HDD players as well.... these when connected to PC appear like external USB disk so you can copy files to them. Then you can connect them directly to PC via composite/svideo and they would play.

All available with ease in Wanchai/Sham Shui Po.
