Sonos or Squeezebox? Home wireless a/v...

Folks,
I have to set up my home a/v and I want to access stuff on my pc and on the net, BUT don't want wires all over the place, . The best solution I have found is the Sonos system, but dang, it's expensive ! According to my internet research, the Logitech Squeezebox Duet is the next best thing. Can anyone give me their opinions on these 2 systems? Also, any suggestions on wireless speakers would also be welcomed... (and a good place to buy it all)..

i dont know about sonos (except that it is expensive). squeezebox classic i own, which is similar to squeezebox duet and is great. i personally would recommend classic, which is cheaper (by ~$1k), as the main thing you are paying for in the duet is the pretty remote control. you can buy the logitech in Wanchai Computer Centre.
