Photography lighting kit?

Hello photographers,

Was wondering if anyone had any good recommendations of a good 'entry-level' lighting kit for portrait photography and where to find it in Hong Kong?

Not looking for a high end expensive kit. But something okay for a hobby photographer.

I'm shooting with a D300.
