    Transferring memory-card from camera

We'll be visiting HK and staying there for 1 month meaning a lot of photos will be taken with our digital camera.
This also means that we need to dump the photos over to something else so we can erase its memory-card.

What solutions are there for this in HK?

Something expensive like this or like tim suggested, the local camera / digital output shops will burn the contents of the card to a DVD / CD -- which you probably want to keep in a VERY safe location, as I suspect they're probably not going to use top of the range disks.

Yes, that multimedia storage drive seems nice if you have the $$$$ to spend.
I think burning it to a CD-R is a better idea. I'd have it burn to two separate CDs just to be on the safe side.

So most shops selling cameras do this for you? Price?

Any specific shops to recommend? (I've heard horror stories of people losing all of their holiday photos because of incompetance!).

Most shops processing digital photos.... i.e. photo printing / processing shops. Not camera sales ...

Look out for Fotomax in most shopping malls.

Is that "look out" as in keep away from Fotomax because they're no good, or ""look around until you find Fotomax because they are good"?
Just want to make sure I've understood correctly.

They provide facilities for reading off your data. They're the good guys.
