Ipad1 second hand.

Since there is seemingly a rush for Apple fans to sell their Ipad 1's to make way for the new generation 2, where are these used 1's being sold, and at what price, specifically for 32gig wifi model?

The classifieds here yield nothing except high premium 2's

I dont think there is a rush to sell ipad 1 at this time. Maybe a few idiots, but not the majority. Even the fanboys that have half a brain will at least wait a bit longer to migrate from 1 to 2 at reasonable prices. Then there is the rational and sensible ipad 1 owners who can see that the ipad 2 is clearly not a big upgrade and will probably not upgrade at all and just wait for ipad 3.

If you dont have an ipad at all now, an ipad 2 may be attractive. If you already have an ipad 1, I think it is questionable whether an upgrade is worthwhile.

try the other expat forum, a few more ipad 1 ads ( may even get a bargain) or if you can read chinese yahoo auctions ( bid, meet the seller at designated place- usually the mtr, check the goods and pay)

Just to clarify, I am speaking specifically about HK market at the moment. If you are in the US and can pick one up at retail prices, fine. But if you are paying $10,000+ for an ipad2 in HK at the moment I think you are an idiot.
