Unable to send emails from Netvigator acct on my PC to any Hotmail address

Hi, for past 10 days I keep getting reject messages when I send an email from my Netvigator acct to any Hotmail address.

The reject message which originates from Netvigator says that messages from my IP address cannot be delivered to Hotmail and advise me to contact my ISP. I can send emails to any other address, it's only Hotmail addresses I have a problem with.

Tech support at PCCW keep telling me they have sent a message to Hotmail to unblock my IP address, but 10 days later, countless frustrating calls to PCCW and I'm still in the same position.

I am able to send emails from my Netvigator acct on my Iphone to any Hotmail address, strangely enough, so it looks like it's a problem between my IP address and Hotmail.

Does anyone have any advice, as I'm about to lose it big time with PCCW.

    Thanks!

Yes I could do that but I'd rather not use multiple addresses and prefer to keep Netvigator address. Really frustrating though!

Just wondered if there is technical solution for this as PCCW seem incapable of fixing it and Hotmail do not reply to messages from them.

I was trying to connect to some overseas Government websites that I use for work, however, they always would time out. I used alternate sources for a while until I then one day called netvigator and tried to find out the problem. It seemed that at my gym I could connect to the web sites.

Well, after about a dozen support calls and call backs, and pinging the servers and telling tech support the error messages i was getting...

...it seemed the websites had blacklisted netvigator, perhaps for preventing more hacking attempts. Could the Mainlanders or the mainland government have gotten hold of a netvigator account and tired to do some hacking on government sites? It makes since as Hong Kong's internet is much freer and less suspect.

Anyway, I got Netvigator to send a request to the administrator and about two months later the web sites opened up to Netigator. Perhaps you need to do the same thing...?

    This one may be better:
    Blacklist Check

(Some of) PCCW's mail servers regularly get on blacklists unfortunately. The PCCW management doesn't seem bothered by this for some reason, but it is very annoying sometimes.

OP, you should count yourself lucky as you at least get an error....
Normally it just accepts anything and then puts it in the Spam folder.....

yes it is so bloody annoying as they have supposedly sent message to Hotmail but have received no reply and PCCW suggested I do so myself, but Hotmail never responds to individual users, only ISPs.

Thanks for the blacklist server checklist, when I input my IP address (for some reason I have two as I got separate reject messages with two different IP addresses) I don't however see Netvigator listed as one of those blacklisted servers and where would Hotmail be listed as not receiving emails from those servers? Sorry, new to this blacklist thing.

Happened to me and I was forced to change my Email address in the end. PCCW could not solve it, wierdly, I can't say they didn't try, even calling me back and spending a lot of time trying all sorts of stuff over the phone before giving up.
