    Help with Chrome....not working !!!!!

Something has gone wrong with my google Chrome this morning. Every web page I try accessing is coming up with the message (This web page is not available"; "the web page at <<<url>> might be temporarily down or it may have moved......"

Error 102 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED): The server refused the connection.

I have tried all the following:

    1. switched everything off and restarted the modem, computer etc
    2. uninstalled Chrome and reinstalled

My outlook is working fine, i can access the internet via IE etc.

Help....no idea what has gone wrong. My only hunch is that my wife said she had some McAfee message this morning and she pressed ok ! No idea what it was.

Anything else I should be trying ?

Are you in offline mode or something? Not sure, I don't use Chrome. I think FireFox is better do you have that?

Ouch Katanga. Don't you think that was a little over the top? An apology would be welcome

Happens to me at least once a day - power off your modem, wait 10 secs, power on & restart pc. Complete PITA
Sorry, just saw that you tried that. Sometimes needs more than one go! Have had I-cable out twice no idea why it's happening

Server Certificate Validation. Server Certificate Expiration Date. This tripped me up once in a Linux OS using Firefox. The computer's time and the certificates were both wrong. Not sure how it works with Chrome though.

Katanga, good luck with it. Don't make such accusations again unless of course you can prove it.
