    Kid's computing

I want the kids to use my home PC but I am worried they will open all kinds of programmes and change the setttings. I was wondering if anyone knew about some kind of programme or mode in XP that would limit access to certain programmes? Thanks

Can you setup a limited account for your kids? ( most people setup accounts as administrators ). You can go into control panel -> users and create a user account and assign some basic permissions to it.

The type of XP you have might affect the ability to create certain account types.

Also, make sure you password protect your account and set a quick logout / idle time so that you're logged out and the kids need to log into their own accounts.
