Setting Up router for PCCW connection

I have PCCW connection for internet and Now TV. I am intending to user WiFi router.

Please tell me how easy it is to move to WiFi user for PCCW internet - Now TV connection??

Do I still need to use PCCW router and then internet wire going in new Router ??

or

I can put new router in place of PCCW router and still enjoy Internet + Now TV ??

PCCW is a modem not a router , you plug your NOW TV to the PCCW modem , your router to PCCW modem and done ...
You have to imput your PCCW log in and password to your router .

I did exactly as beuze did for my connection. Took me a while to fix it but what got me through was a complete reset of thw wifi router to the PCCW modem and then took 5 mins to setup.

Erm, not necessarily. Depending on which service the OP subscribes to, the PCCW model might very well have a wireless router built in already.

No - for the NOW TV there is a NOW TV box between the PCCW Modem and the TV.

I've just checked in going back from computer to wireless router.

From the wireless router (internet port) by cable to PCCW modem (WLAN port).

From the PCCW modem (STB) to PCCW Now TV.

Everything should be setup from PCCW so you shouldn't have to worry about anything except from you PCCW router to your wireless modem.

The above takes care of the physical connection. I have done all that, but how do I input my PCCW log in and password to my router? Remember I do not have connection yet.

You have to login your router config page..normally routers have addresess like 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1..you can find your routers address, login username and password from the manual..

After you login, you need to configure the WAN connection to pppoe and input the pccw username and password..

setup pppoe on your router input username and pass that easy if you looked around in your router webui you would of seen it.
