Not it it's made for the US market, like many TVs there are. In that case it's usually 110V and NTSC / 60 Hz only. Portable equipment like notebooks and such might be different though.

You don't think 110v means lower electricity consumption do you?
Why do you think packy_crusher would think that?

We just bought a TV yesterday from

Their prices are cheaper than Fortress and Broadway. We find the prices in Fortress is always marked higher.

Opps! We bought our TV from AV Life Limited, in IFC level 2. Tel: 2002 2003 and they are very helpful. We had problem installing it today, they rang back right away after we left a message and they are knowledgable (better than the TV company that we called who solved no problem but gave us headache). I also vouched such affluent service don't occur in Fortress nor Broadway.

In Fortess etc. you can always ask for a better price - and you get a better price!

You can also check sites like price.com.hk for a certain model.

You can also get a great done count if you don't go for the very latest model.

For 2nd you can check the classified at dcfever.com - it's a very active local trading site.

...how do I even know all that, I never ever watch tv.

Went into Forstress on Central and haggled the price of a LG 42 inche 3d TV down from $5200 to $4680. Then did some online sleuthing on price.com.hk and found several vendors for less. emailed a few and Roy from Compumark HK replied very fast and he offered for close to $1000 less than fortress cash on delivery. Going to give him a shot and see how that goes (famous last words?). In case anyone is in our same situation will update the situation, so far he seems personable and helpful (key word is so far). As usual, time will tell.

So 10% savings over Fortress. Seems about fair.

I bought my tv at Broadway and I was surprised to see that they searched and matched the price found on price.com
