Netvigator problems running FaceTime on Macbook

Evening all- this one's a doozy so if your a bright spark please help!

I have a Macbook that is up to date with Lion OSX and iCloud that has worked perfectly when using FaceTime before we joined PCCW ( in hotels & on previous router). Ive been to Apple today and lo & behold FaceTime works brill.... also tried it in Starbucks. Tonight I tried to update my new iCloud mail and it just wouldn't load.... and web pages are taking forever too. Went to starbucks and it happened straight away. FaceTime works on my iPhone at home on Netvigator, but the apple guys said it was because the initial connection is on 3g then it switches to wifi. This explains why FaceTime will ring on my macbook to another FaceTime but cannot connect...

SOoo.... I have plugged the Lan line into back of netvigator black router and been into the user setup- can't see anything that I know like a firewall etc, but I'm also conscious that I don't know much about ports and triggering and that nothing seems obviously wrong- but something is!

And I have tried PCCW- been into a shop today & told to ring customer services- tried that 20 mins no answer..

Is there someone who has had this problem? Is there someone that can get me back up and running with FaceTime? btw Skype works ok.. am running on the 30MB package so do not believe i need more speed.. just a lovely, lovely genius!
