upgraded to Win8 a month back and found it great so far - light years faster than 7 to boot up and run, the new desktop is much simpler and brings the ribbon concept from Office to the OS.
it does take getting used to - you lose the start menu in favour of the metro tiles and having apps on a full PC seems not particularly useful
The cheap Windows 8 upgrade offer expires by the end of this month, means this Thursday.
I want to buy it, download it and install it later. How do I get to the 64 Bit version? I can't see that option.
