One of our (newish) power cables has died. Not sure why as it's not been much used. Does anyone know the right procedure for this? We don't have apple care and I don't know which laptop it came with or if it was a stand alone purchase (I did purchase one at the airport not too long ago on account of leaving it in Taiwan by accident!). No receipt.
No point in plodding into town to the Apple store if they are going to say they cannot do anything about it without a receipt!
