I understand you can buy support from Redmond to cover additional updates to XP. A few governments are doing this, and am pretty sure lots of companies, like ATM providers are doing the same.

The reason I got frustrated with windows XP on my old laptop was the constant disconnection problem with home wifi. Not just disconnection, it'd actually kill the wifi and I'll end up setting up new wifi account. The PCCW technician told me there is something that XP doesn't like about wifi.
