We had one which broke -- stopped charging. One works fine ...

I personally think that the Google fit on a relative new Android phone works better than the Mi.

We got ours from Groupon. Has a 1 year warranty so should take the broken one to be fixed.
@pin was trying to sell his.

    Great, thanks for the updates.
    Darn, I missed the groupon.

Mine's been fine - absolutely acceptable functions and performance for the cost (I'm comparing it to the Nike Fuelband I used to have). Accuracy is around 80 - 90% with a few odd hiccups here and there. Battery life is amazing, easily over a month for me even with daily syncing. Syncs quickly and with no issue as well.

I use it mostly to track my sleep (length and quality).

The only thing I can't get it to do regularly is the 'watch' gesture (which is supposed to light up the LEDs to show you your status in response to raising your wrist).

Well it seems to be out of stock everywhere - on HK island.
So got a fitbit charge instead. Prices have really dropped. Got for $750.

Anyone know where to pick up the mi band 1s pulse in HK?

it only works in a certain way. You need to be standing and using your left arm (presuming that's where your band is), take a look at it like glancing a watch with the band facing 45 degrees to the ground
