You can try the Golden shopping centre in Sham Shui Po, but the best bet is online via forums like DC Fever, get a local friend to help you translate.

If you have a chinese visa, also look at going to Shenzhen. There are a couple of huge shopping malls in the Huaqiang Rd area (check SZ metro map) that are worth checking out. There is lots of stuff there, much of it is crap, but worth checking out if you have some knowledge, or have a friend to help.

The markets there sell everything from a single wire to electronic components, computer peripherals and full systems. Like everything in dirt land, you can get (A) bargains (B) market price (C) robbed beyond belief.

Word to the wise that this area of product is full of pitfalls...... If you don't know lots of technical stuff and can't differentiate between imported and local stuff, find an expert and take him/her with you. A knowledge of canto-babble is a big help

Second hand stuff is definitely a minefield and don't expect any warranty or aftersales stuff if you've bought at the bottom prices....
