    Home Broadband

For my home broadband, I have two offers for 24 months package between PPCW 8MBPs line, and the HKBN 1000M line at $200 and $185 respectively. So which plan should I go for? Or any other good options?

Based, on the numbers it seems HKBN, but I found some complaints about its overseas speed. I mainly will be using to access overseas sites and online games, so I need good global internet speed.

Global internet speed is an issue everywhere, but ask them what is the overseas bandwidth. I think you can get up to 100mb with the 300mbps packages. Going up to the 1000mbps I found the overseas bandwidth did not increase...

The 8MB line is ADSL right? Like me, you probably won't even get 8mb. I get closer to 3mb (on a good day). I would take the fiber any day of the week.

I used HKBN and loved it. Moved to a new place in an old building where HKBN doesn't have any service, so I am gutted.
