    Excel help

    i hate excel. can some one help please

    I have a set of data on a 'master' sheet.
    i want to sort these data in 3 different ways, presented on three different sheets.
    i want to be able to add / subtract data from the master sheet and have the other sheets update automatically.

    depends how you want it presented, but sounds like pivot tables

    You can copy the variables from the master sheet and paste them into the subordinates as links.

    Use right click on your mouse and choose 'link' when pasting the values.

    the secondary sheets do not update when i add new data

    Select Field in A1 in one of the child sheets. Then enter '=IFERROR(Master!A1, "")'. Then select A1 to Z1 and then select fill right. Then select A1 to Z100, then select fill down.
