If the game supports 3840 x 2160 output.Original Post Deleted
resolution depends on the output from your graphics card, not the monitor. if the graphics card provides 1920x1080 that is the best you can get.
Analog is via VGA cable.
Digital is via DVI or HDMI cable.
Your computer supports the 4K monitor, but whether you can play games at that resolution is still uncertain. To get a high frame rate at that resolution usually requires a high end video card.
More importantly, what's your graphics card?Original Post Deleted
I don't really game (hardware requirement for online Sudoku ain't massive anyway), but one question out of curiosity:
Why those mega PC hardware and not a dedicated gaming console like PS4 or similar? There are already some 4K consoles out there I believe.
You can probably play games at higher resolutions than what your current monitor supports, but it may stutter at the full resolution.Original Post Deleted
I thought the only games you played were the stock market and property. You need such a high frame rate to look at the Centa-City Leading index?
A quick Google suggests you're probably good at 4K then.
That's a decent graphics card and you should get around 25-30 frames per second with 4K gaming, which will probably make you a bit dizzy. The 4K games will run, but it will be stuttering. Up to about 6 months ago, the magic number for 4K gaming was 60 frames per second, which just a few top end current gen graphics cards can do,
