On the look out for a colour accurate 27" monitor

Currently using a 29" Ultrawide monitor from LG, whilst its quite cheap and I love the ultrawide format, I've come to the point where I'm in need of a new monitor that has ultra precise colour accuracy. The reason for this is that lately I've taken a lot of photography and videography jobs, and I need the colour accuracy when I'm editing the photos/videos.

As an example, I had a photo which I though I had adjusted part of which to pure white, but when shown elsewhere it turned out slightly grey. Strangely, this issue is even more of a problem under Windows 10, so now I normally edit booting into my Hackintosh.

I just missed a great deal on a Dell U2718Q going for around HKD$3500 (now around HKD$4500) and was wondering if anyone else has any other recommendations..

It has to be an IPS monitor for accurate colours.
Pure white can look grey when compared with a brighter white. It looks "whiter" when it is brighter, but does not mean more pure.
