Anyone using a UHD display on a notebook?

UHD (3840x2160), LED Backlight, IPS, Anti-glare, 500nits, with Dolby Vision HDR 400

Am considering the above and curious about power consumption and scaling for use in general MSFT Office applications. This will not be used for gaming. Size of display will be 15.6".

Not as fancy as yours, but do have a similar display on an ASUS gaming laptop. Since it is a bulk laptop, there are no battery consumption issues (works fine for 2-3-4 hours of general usage at medium brightness).

My old macbook pro scales to 2560x1600 and I can easily get 4 hours on it.

IMO, resolution ain't the game changer, but HDR watching TV or playing games, quite a big difference.

but to be honest, if you're using it for office usage and won't use hdr content, rather pointless

Serious question- what's the benefit of really high res on a smallish screen?
