How to get detailed stats for each subdirectory?

I need exact stats for my website’s subdirectory (I think that’s what it’s called).

    For example. I have mysite.com/pinkdress and mysite.com/bluedress.

I need exact stats on how many people visited each of these two sites, where they come from, what search engine they used, etc. Is it possible?

Usually website hosts don't provide this information, but is there some app or software that I can add to the website, so that I can obtain this information?

    Google Analytics

But it can do a lot more than just tell you where people stumbled on to your site

You need to add a line of 'code' to the HTML on each page.

    Youtube has plenty of guides

If you implement GA ... follow their Youtube channel. There are some good gems hidden in there even though they've been uploading some hyper-advanced levels tutorials lately. Good to explore what is available and learn how to use some of their features.

Quite a rabbit hole to go down.. most of it is useless for small sized / low-medium traffic websites.

Yeah most security and ad blockers block google analytics... Google claims that you will not help profile your users get profiled based on their interests and they will not target them with ads. Promise!

your stats will always be wrong and also depending on the user demographics the "stats loss" will vary and cant be extrapolated...
