This canon refill printer has been great, i bought it over a year ago and i still have not had to refill anything, i still have ink left in the bottles that came with the printer , the printer turns off automatically after while of not being used, when i need to print i just press the on button and it still prints well even after a week turned off.

it prints well (color also), scanner, wifi connection and not too large, I'd say its like A3 size.
It costs about half a price of a printer to replace the print heads. Had one died on a HP years ago.

    Printer ink is so expensive!

The Canon G4010, I had before was quite good. AC installer managed to drop some some small particles from the wall and somehow the particles got stuck in the printer and died.

    I decided to look at:-

    Colour Laser

    Colour inkjet Bottle
    https://hk.canon/en/consumer/pixma-g6070/product
    https://hk.canon/en/consumer/new-pix...e-printer/news

and went for the G6070 as it's only HK$0.04 per page.

I just refill my HP 1200 Laser printer for around 30 RMB with refills from Shumchun's SEG Plaza.

I just ordered last Sunday night a Brother MFC L3770 laser, got delivered 12 hours later which is impressive considering I have been waiting for a letter from HK island for 10 days via post.

Commercial grade will last you longer. We are on year 6 of our printer which used to print hundreds of duplex pages a week. It is a brother mfc unit.. Forget the model number.

I’m sitting next to the same series brother printer which gets an absolute hammering in our firm, about 3 reams of paper go through it a week.

ours is a Brother MFC-9335CDW and about 2 years old from when we first set the office up.

We have been very happy with it as It has managed to survive our moderately heavy work flow environment.

No positive recommendations. Whatever you do DO NOT BUY AN HP. I got one in April and it's a heap of shit. Seriously. I should have googled first.

I'm using Epson XP-245 for 6 months already. For 500 HKD - it has WiFi, and can do 300dpi scanning, suitable for b/w printing. If you're not printing that much - I think it's better than 2k printers. Recharge cartridges - 100HKD for 250 pages.

Sooner or later, most inkjet users will experience a clogged print head....
