What type of mouse do you use?

With a growing dichotomy of use for PCs (Portable Laptop & deskbound Multiscreen ) what type of pointer manipulator do you use?

I use the exact one in tropic's post. Can't go back to a regular one now.

Relieves the wrist strain you never realise you have until you switch... In my case I was starting to get weird aches down my arms so went for the full setup and also got a kinesis split keyboard.

To the original poll, I can't use those pointing nipple things on lenovo laptops at all... it always looks like jedi mind control to me when I see someone using one.

@Peaky have you used a trackball type device or did you jump from a regular mouse to this vertical thingy... Seems like a very fancy trackball.

Same reason for using a track ball plus very easy to skit between monitors with a few mm of thumb movement

I probably didn't give it enough time for adapting but tried a trackball for a day and didn't get to grips with it. The mouse is much more familiar although you do end up retraining different muscles to do mouse clicks which too a few days to feel normal. There's a thousand Chinese branded versions of that mouse design on aliexpress and US amazon for cheap if you're interested in trying one.
