    GoDaddy defaulting to Chinese

I'm new to this so apologies if there is an obvious solution but I've found that my GoDaddy account keeps defaulting to Chinese language (which I don't read) and I can't see any obvious way of making English the default setting.

I have tried using suggestions found on Google without success.

Try opening it in incognito mode on chrome. Worked for me a few days ago. There were quite a few hiccups in the usual chrome mode related to language and translation.

Will give it a try when I am on my desktop later.

Is it setting the language based on your ip address? Super annoying.

Google Chrome browser has in-built translation - enable it under settings/advanced/language ...

The fact that some websites in 2021 still do language based on ip location is just mindblowing.

The chrome translation seemed to break a bunch of stuff for me once logged in. It was a non-trivial payment method change.. but worked just fine in incognito mode.

Even google does that when I set up a new computer. It is annoying and should be asked. So many websites do it like skyscanner or even iherb.

Thanks but no change - still in Chinese only with no visible options to change it.

You don't see this in the footer?
