Wonderful TV isn't it? I have resorted to a second tv to escape it. With my wife, sister-in-law and kids in the house it's on more than my brain can cope with.

I do like the bloke on 24 oras, sounds like he is commentating on a horse race not reading the news.

Totally off topic, well even more than the above, flew CEBU to Clark. Fine, apart from the early start from Clark. My first experience with them, must be the only airline in the world that has a party game during the flight. Plus the announcement, "your stewardess is called xxxx, an ex Miss Universe - from 1956".

Try the server in Taipei, Taiwan. The Hong Kong one is way slower:

Kinda wondering what routers people are using with the faster connections like BB100, BB200, found this great thread via Google:

    就快轉BB200, 用咩router好?? - 網絡寬頻 - 電腦領域 HKEPC Hardware - 全港 No.1 PC討論區

Lol, connecting a BB200 service to a consumer D-Link router than only has a 100mb uplink port.

Better threads on BB100, usually consumer routers are going to have problems above 20mb:

I think I pay $138/month for my internet + something else for NowTV. It's supposed to be 8Mbps but I get nowhere near it, even if I unplug the NowTV box. I know it's not my gear as I had it in Australia and I got 6Mbps without issue.

I should really push NowTV support to fix it, but I have read many negative comments about how difficult to get NowTV to act on it that I've been to lazy to try.

I'm not sure $138 gets you 8Mbit/s - that's a very good deal if so. It looks to me like you have 3Mbit/s

I think it was $246 for NowTV, and add $138 for 8M broadband if I remember correctly. I'll have to check my bills to confirm..
