    Anyone managed to use ChatGPT?

I am trying to sign up with ChatGPT/OpenAI but either get email not supported of not available in your country - even though I use a VPN in NL/Europe.

So what's your trick in case you use it in HK?

Use a US end point. Have not played with chatgpt but have spent a fair bit of time on their image generator.

My VPN is on my server and only I use it, and very rarely though.

I connect to a UK server and it works fine. However, I signed up over a month ago (soon after first released). Colleagues now say that you need a mobile number in that country during the sign-up process.

You still need to use your phone to login? Can you user other allowed country IPs?

Hence my question above. Shouldn't be any problem to ask someone to open an account for you overseas. It's just a question how often you need the phone verification.
