    Question Any 4090Ds left?

    I've been planning on getting one and as of the end of November there were plenty to be had. The 4090D was going for around $13k.

    Now, virtually all gone. In stores, carousell, price... Gone. I found one for $12k but it's btf design and would require a new expensive mb and new case. No thanks. The only other 4090 was 20K. Other than those 2 nothing. They all vanished so fast (probably as the 5090 leaks came out they went this route instead). With production stopped there won't be more.

    So any other options I may have missed? Maybe missed few stores in ssp and mk, but certainly tried most.

    @ArrynField thanks, I've already messaged every seller on price. (At least those that are not over 17k). All out of stock and no plan on restock.

    @mengfei What is jd? And can you trust tb? I mean if a problem, crossborder hassle and trying to get refund seems like could be an issue.

    @Cheeky Kiwi

    How have I never heard of them before? Thx.

    But I just don't know if I can trust these places like tb or jd. This is a big investment in a product I can't see or touch in person first. I haven't been impressed with my TB purchases even from trusted well reviewed merchants.

    Anybody use jd for high end electronics. Good quality or service?

    Oh and how do you use jd? It keeps asking for a mainland phone number. Global site, HK both ask for mainland only number.

    Wife bought me a laptop (minisforum v3) on JD, had it delivered to a mainland hotel whilst she was there for a meeting.

    JD.com is the #1 trusted online platform in the middle kingdom though their price is higher than the competition

    What's the news on the 50 series that prompted this run on the 4090 then? I'm way behind the curve on PC gaming with a lowly 3080 in my Razer core x. My new laptop has a nerf 4070 that performs worse!

    I've used both JD and TB, primarily when I was in mainland China though. No real complaints about either. Try to get a local friend to help you.
