    agreed...its just a pity that everyone constantly needs to try and trick customers into buying their product. technically it is correct, but probably 70% of consumers do not know the difference, and are just buying thinking of how fast its going to be.

    For me personally - I am simply after reliability as the top priority - you can have 100mb per second, 800mbit but if it breaks down every 5 minutes, it is uselesss regardless of how cheap it can be !

    The 30 mb is surely faster than their other connections, even the uploads are faster, i download heavily and the max that i have ever got is 21mb but i average 15-16 mb.

    Hhmm that's what I get consistently on a 18Mbps link ... Seems hardly a difference.

    Using 10-20 connections, you will easily be able to saturate your full 30M, as long as it isn't being limited by the server that is sending it. Anywhere in the world - USA, Europe, Australia, you should easily get 30M for file downloads.

    Try Internet Download Manager, I've been using it for years and it's great.
