    Web stats program.

What is the IN web stats program for Linux/BSD?

I only need to process some apache logs. I want something that does GEOIP.

Mint: A Fresh Look at your Site

Mint is the non-free fancy stats package.

I've been using webalizer for many many years, and it does have optional compile-time GeoIP support...

    I prefer AWStats honestly.

Most of the log based programs have a hard time identifying real users from bots and end up with largely inflated numbers.

Our pageview count would be inflated by 100K pages a day if we were to take bots into account based on logs.

Well, the 'IN' apache log parsers are pretty much Webalizer and Awstats as both have been mentioned. They are the most popular and have a pretty busy community.

hk.com - look at mod_log_sql ... will allow you to put the logs into mysql and then filter as you need / run reports. You can then sort out how to handle the various entries.
