Which would you recommend? good/bad experiences?
would a pay-as-you-go or contract be best?
I will probs be using it for few local and many international minutes.

HK Mobile provider
A native friend of mine recommended CSL when I first got here. It seems to have the best local coverage. My other friends have other providers and constantly have signal drop out. I rarely do. For pay-as-you-go, Sunday seems to be pretty good and they have a number of outlets for easy recharges.

Mobile through CSL (one2free not 1010) and then international though 1529 (IDT)... Local and intl minutes can be got separately..

I am with 3. Got a Pay as you go and then upgraded it. I was very happy with their service.
I got a new sim for the contract phone and they warned me what time and day I would have to change. On that Day I got a call to remind me and the net day I got a call to make sure everything was working.
