    Thanks imparanoic.

So if I don't really need the (dsp?) settings like AudioClear and such, I could probably go with any of the LT phones?

I am not planning to get a data plan yet (unless there are cheap PAYG data available). I just don't need to always have access to the internet on my phone because I am usually in wifi areas. So I will be using this mainly as a MP and for people to reach me on my PAYG number.

I thought that I saw some LT(?) phones in the Sincere Podium yesterday for about $2500. Maybe they were used?

SmarTone have a $80 ($68 service + $12 admin fee) per month non contract plan where you get unlimited data on 3G (limited to 386kbps speed) and 1700 minutes. You need to sign up with a credit card though. Details are at http://www.smartone.com/jsp/mobile/p...lish/index.jsp. I think some other providers also do a similar deal.

Thanks mikey, this is good to know. I may consider something like this if I want data. My land line and home internet is now with PCCW so I think I get access to their wifi hotspots (although I've been having trouble trying to connect) which may be all I really need. My PAYG mobile is with CSL.

I couldn't find a PAYG data for CSL but I found it on PCCW's webpage, however it is quite confusing for me. http://pccwmobile.com/portal/service...10193#section1
