Which iPhone carrier?

Due to the drawn out and impending death of my phone I am about to purchase a new phone. Any advice on best carrier for iPhone 5?

I currently have a 3G lite China Mobile (People's) Sim Card. What would be the benefits of changing to say Smartone as a carrier rather than just putting my simcard in an iphone and continuing with China Mobile if I bought just the handset? I have unlimited data already and China Mobile provide Nano simcards for iphones. Since China Mobile seems cheap I thought this option would be more popular but doesn't seem to be common, why?

You can keep using China Mobile if you're happy with the rate / speed. The only benefit you'll get by switching to Smartone (CSL, or Hutchison) is LTE. These three are the only carriers in HK that offers compatible LTE with the iPhone 5.

because China Mobile used to have only 2G/Edge speed.

but about 2-3 months ago, they signed an agreement with PCCW and they're using their HSPA (3G) towers. the fastest 3G speed I had (I'm on their 4G plan btw) from them was 19Mbps (yep), but you are on 3G lite plan so the fastest you can go is around 384 kbps.

So yes, the only real difference is LTE, and honestly, if price is ur concern, no reason for you to go any other carrier.
