Yep, did it too. Took about an hour. No issues noticed yet. But can't also notice any different. Time font looks a little different, time is same though.

I installed Android Marshmellow on my Nexus 7 (2013) - it has been GREAT - I did a clean/full wipe, I recommend you do the same.
Biggest improvement has been standby time, it is just like my old iPad now, awesome
How did you do this? My Nexus 7 lags so much that I have basically given up on it. If I can get it working again by installing Android Marshmellow, it'd be great.

Download image here and use adb/fastboot to install.

Install Wuugfresh - make sure the drivers are all installed and working (wug has instructions), then choose "flash stock + unroot"

On the Nexus 5 with Android 6.0 battery life feels better.

Will try it this weekend without my Mugen battery pack. Lets see if I lasts more than 16-18 hours on a lowish brightness.

If it does, I'll be impressed - standard image with a few apps like Whatsapp, Paypal, Hangouts and a few widgets.

With doze on and a few other tweaks, I got about 24 on Marshmallow, with about 3 hours screen time. I do find that when I actually use the N5, battery life drops like a mofo though.

Anyone else on Marshmallow, specifically on the N5. Any of you use Face Unlock? If so, is it broken? With me it works for about a day, and then it stops working in that it breaks the front facing camera. Basically it renders the front facing camera broken for any other apps as well.

What's Doze? I see a battery saver function... but it adds an ugly orange frame.

One thing I didn't find so far: Running apps (it was before in Settings > Apps). How to check what's running in the background?
