Sounds like Pass the Parcel. Except the wrappings are patents, which they keep to sue the arse off Apple. No one wants to get down to the last wrapper and get the booby prize.

From what I've been reading, it is not as much about suing Apple. It is about protecting their manufacturers (Samsung etc) against lawsuits from the likes of Apple etc.

Fun fact ... Know who makes billions from Android phones? Microsoft ...

    $2 Billion apparently - http://www.zdnet.com/microsoft-is-ma...ne-7000022936/

Adds a lot more perspective on what is going on, with the Nest purchase, patents, ex Apple engineers and Beeeeleeeons of dollahs in cash still lying around.

Let me fix that for you .... So what's CHINA gonna do with Motorola?

Motorola is one of the biggest suppliers of RF equipment and lots of other really cool communications gear, to armed forces / law enforcement - worldwide.

I'd like to see if some of the business has been transferred and will they hit the same barriers that Huawei did when they bought 3com.
