    New killer app from Octopus

    http://www.scmp.com/news/hong-kong/a...nding-whatsapp

I think this is a GREAT idea. Beats having to deal with interbank transfer rates, esp for those who are with HSBC and want to pay someone who doesn't bank as part of the HSBC Group.

"will introduce a cash-transfer app in the second quarter of this year. With it, users will be able to transfer up to HK$1,000 per day to friends or relatives"

I am however waiting for them to roll out their nfc sim card for other networks apart from pccw.
    HK2A430 and lingc like this.

Is there some UN convention that says these cards must start with an O? It is Oyster in London. Who is going to launch the Orgasm card?

    Singapore has : Ez-link
    Beijing has : Yikatong
Tokyo has : Pasmo and Suica

I cant find a UN convention regarding the use of the O

This is a great idea! Good for kid's allowances, too... or tipping!

I want the Ooh La La Card.
