You can try, but if it has been swimming in the rain, then the water sensors would have be activated and they may refuse to touch it.

Use ziplock bags when its going to rain or get a decent waterproof pouch for it in future.

iphone 5c cost HK$4688, not HK$700, unless you have a knock off iphone

Is that HK $2088 replacement only from Apple reps or can you get that at any of the repair shops? As someone said, if my water sensors are tripped, Apple won't take it. My water sensors are surely tripped.

From Apple, and they do take it even if the LCIs are tripped.
