Best easy to use cell phone

my wife wants a quality built cell phone with no bells & whistles as long as it makes & receive calls with good sound quality and reception.

any suggestions? i've stopped looking at cell phones since the days of Sony Ericsson T610 (the last simple cell phone i bought) due to my preference for smartphones and now iPhones.

You can't go wrong with the lower end Sony Ericssons and Nokia's
No specific recommendations on models but look at the $1000 and under range and theres plenty that will be perfect for her.

some thing in the lines of a basic entry level is suitable for you or your spouse, eg. Sony ericsson T280 (it even looks like the T610)

I just picked up a Sony Ericsson T303 for $800 at Sin Tat.. $1000 at the regular stores.

Super easy to use, very small slider phone, I recommend it.
