    Looking for cheap budget phone

I like to get some opinions on a cheap budget smartphone.

Something like Moto G, but that's now 1+ years old and I presume technology moved a bit forward.

I am not too fixed on the specs, but on the wishlist are:

    Android 4.4 or better
    Wireless Qi charging

If the Moto G had Qi I would go for that....

    Any suggestions are welcome!

And what is cheap? LG-G3 seems like the obvious choice. Or Nexus 5?

1 year old android phones will happily run the latest Android...

They might bow have 8 core processors and high pixel densities but are completely usable.

Maybe I just go for the Moto G and one of those Qi cases... looks like an acceptable compromise.

Moto g version 3 soon to be announced. But I reckon you can pick up an N5 for around 1.5k these days. I would go for that.

I have a N5 myself and still like it. The phone I look for is a gift, so I won't go for 2nd hand.

How much you going to spend? I think you can still buy new N5, but not direct from Google.

Problem with nexus 5, seems like LG crippled it with severe bad battery life especially compared to its cousin g2 had more than double the battery life span

    Second Hand?

Samsung G3 LTE about $500 in Sin Tat. 2Gb ram makes a huge difference over basic S3, also LTE version auto upgrades to Android 4.4

probably lots of other old phones that need a new owner
