(I used to head over there once a year to read John Siracusa's 20+ page review of the latest OS X.)

Being an Apple Aficionado (hardly a fanboy these days, I hasten to say), I have a soft spot for the pre-iPhone announcement flavour of Android

Thanks for the warning. I believe it's a very interesting article. But it's length scared me away.

I looked through the photos in the beginning, I really don't see much difference between them. I had an android mobile in 2012. I'm talking about 4 years back from here. The phone got stolen. I didn't use another android device for me ever since.
